Nórsky štátny fond prisľúbil výrazný nárast financovania na podporu obrany a rekonštrukčných úsili Ukrainy. Premiér Jonas Gahr Støre zdôraznil dôležitosť státia na Ukrajine v boji proti ruskému útoku a oznámil celkový nárast financií vo výške 27 miliárd nórskych korún na rok 2024.

Okrem vojenskej pomoci sa zvyšuje aj civilná podpora, pričom sa navrhuje zvýšiť 10 miliárd nórskych korún na podporu kľúčových štátnych funkcií. Táto finančná pomoc pomôže Ukrajine udržať stabilitu uprostred pokračujúcich nepriateľstiev a pomôže pri obnove energetického infraštruktúry zničenej ruskými útokmi.
